Liz Morgan PR is a boutique public relations firm, where clients receive the level of expertise of a seasoned agency, but deal directly with the agency’s founder and owner, Liz Morgan. Liz is a creative, award-winning public relations professional with more than 20 years of experience in media relations, communications strategy and event planning.
Liz Morgan PR is a solo practitioner with a network of local colleagues that she occasionally partners with to handle jobs and projects that require an expanded team.
Liz Morgan PR was launched in 2000. Liz began her communications career on the other side of the desk as a print journalist. During her tenure with Financial News & Daily Record in Jacksonville, she covered local government, hospitality, finance and medical beats. She also learned from a media perspective what makes a successful news release and media pitch.
She moved on to serve as editor of Gift Basket Review, a national consumer trade magazine; and also worked as a copywriter for clients including Citibank and Spiegel.
In 1997, she joined Willman & Company as Public Relations account manager. At Willman & Company, she supervised the record-breaking openings of both Harris Teeter supermarkets and Dave & Buster’s restaurants (Jacksonville, Miami, Cincinnati and Columbus markets).
Additionally, she managed PR strategy for a wide range of clients including Uncommon Women on Common Ground conferences, Quigley House, The Perdue Companies and the national media relations efforts for the 20th Anniversary Edition release of Christina Crawford’s Mommie Dearest.
When Willman & Company closed, Liz joined the City of Jacksonville’s Film & Television Office as Public Relations Specialist during the filming of BASIC, starring John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson.

Liz is a frequent guest speaker on the topic of public relations, presenting to groups including Florida Public Relations Association, Florida Library Association, Building Buzz national conference and the International Design Guild.
In addition to media relations and communications strategy, Liz Morgan PR has specific areas of expertise in special event planning and coordination. From organizing conferences for the Centers of Disease Control in Atlanta to galas for the Jacksonville Museum of Modern Art, Liz Morgan PR is a proven special event planner who can execute and oversee events for 10 or 10,000 people.
Throughout her career, Liz has believed in giving back to the community in which she loves to work and play. Her pro-bono work has included Jacksonville Film Festival (board member), UNF Fine Arts Center (board member), Women in Film & Television Florida (board member), Child Cancer Center (board member), The First Tee of Jacksonville, The Clara White Mission, Theatre Jacksonville, Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, North Florida School and JCCI.
