Angie Helton founded Northeast Media Associates, a multimedia public relations firm, in 2006. Before founding NEMA, she was COO for 480 Digital of Portland, during which time she earned a national Telly Award and two New England regional Emmy nominations. For more than a decade, she produced television news investigative reports in several major Northeast markets, for which she won two regional Emmys among six nominations. Helton, a South Portland resident, is the president of the board of directors for the South Portland/Cape Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce and also sits on the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Maine’s board of directors.

PRCG provides Cookson Communications with the ability to quickly tap a wide range of professionals across the U.S. who can collaborate by both geography and area of expertise to support clients at a national level. PRCG members execute projects for a bevy of national and international brands, focusing on strategic planning and creative execution in media relations, social media, promotions, crisis communications, event development and management, and much more. Members of the non-profit organization are approved by their peers to represent a specific geography. Maine was represented by Felica Knight of the Knight Canney Group through PRCG since 2011. She retired at the end of 2024.
