Kym Koch Thompson is the founder and principal of Koch Comm, a digital media and public relations firm in Oklahoma City.

Kym began her career as a reporter for KWTV in Oklahoma City, served as the Public Information Director for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, and Press Secretary for Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry before launching her own media and public relations firm in 2005.

Kym is a former chairperson of the Oklahoma Arts Council and a founding member and current chair of the arts advocacy group – Oklahomans for the Arts. She is also a board member of the Mid America Arts Alliance, the Oklahoma Quality Foundation, the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and the Creede Repertory Theatre in Creede, Colorado. She and her husband, Mickey Thompson, live in Oklahoma City and enjoy spending time with his four children and their six amazing grandchildren.
